Rachel was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1996, the first of eight children. She loved
hearing, reading, and sharing great stories, especially with her younger sisters and
brothers. After graduating with a piano degree, she taught piano to hundreds of young
students, travelled, and loved spending time with friends and family. She was also an
accomplished writer, with several published poems and a novel she began writing as a
teen and continued working on for many years. That book is ‘Ellyn’. Tragically,
Rachel died in a road accident at age 27 in 2023. Her family and friends continue to
be blessed by her creativity.
