Robin Eisgrau

Robin Eisgrau is a proud native New Yorker who, after living for several years in Manhattan, being a de facto Jersey Girl and wading through the tide of hipsters as a Brooklynite, now happily resides in Queens, the NYC borough she grew up in.
Since 1989, Robin has been writing about music and pop culture for publications such as PAPERSeventeen, Time Out New York, her own music magazine NET, CMJ New Music Report,, The New York Post, Alternative Press, The Aquarian, her blogs Focus and Temper and Plate Envy and other outletsRobin earned both an Associates Degree and Professional Certificate in Editing from New York University.
Robin plays guitar, sings, and writes lyrics in the music duo Soon, alongside fellow New Haven author Richard Cummins. She is an avid reader and loves to cook. A self-professed “beauty junkie,” Robin takes pride in doing her own manicures and pedicures. Being raised by a creative family, she loves visiting art galleries and museums.
Born on the cusp between Cancer and Leo, Robin has the Cancerian trait of being a bit of a homebody who thoroughly enjoys curling up with a cup of tea, good music on the radio and a crossword puzzle. On her Leo side, Robin loves dressing up and going to parties. She particularly enjoys live music and has visited legendary NYC rock venue CBGB over 100 times.
