Since You Went Away

Three women from very different backgrounds: a New York socialite, a former back-up singer and a Latina brought to this country illegally as a child, form a friendship after meeting in the waiting room of the federal penitentiary where their husbands are all serving time.  Dispite their different backgrounds, their lives are interwoven through their common ground – the prison waiting room, and the experience of being with a man who is no longer free. Will they stay with their husbands and forgive, or will they leave and make another life for themselves far from the echo of the metal door that shuts so loudly in the penatentuary corridors?
